$200 is about the maximum I would pay.

I'm looking for a wireless headphone to listen to music on ipod classic. I have the main setup with Denon d7000 and amps. This one is to go lighter on the road but with the similar sound signature. Are all wireless ones are closed? I want it to be closed so that it won't leak sound.

What I meant by downgrading my DAC was that with less precise DAC, I don't get to here as much detail, which often comes in the form of imperfection.  Yeah, it's still there, but it's masked, and it won't be as obvious.  Sort of like when I watch some bluray movies, I see skins of actors, not...

I enjoy D7000 more than my B&W system depending on the music.  The groove that I get out of my headphone setup is second to none.  I mostly listen to pop, rock, and occasional jazz.  Simply love the drum beat.

You need a hub to supply power to DACPort.

I'm happy to report that iPad 3rd gen works perfectly with DACPort. I'd like to believe it sounds better than iPad 1, but there is no way to compare. :)

This is precisely the point.  Somehow, LCD 2 lovers seem to only be able to validate their love by bring it up at other headphones' thread.  I don't think it's not a case of trolling, but rather strange.  Especially, considering there is an active LCD 2 thread that they can compare LCD 2 to...

There is something about LCD-2 owners who can seemingly only validate their headphones by comparing it to D7000; there are hundreds of posting in this thread like it that tried to "convince" you to switch.  Funnier thing is that there is a thread about D7000 vs LCD-2 which is pretty evenly...

So, it's the same story as DACPort/DACPort LX. I wish I didn't have to use the hub, but it's not too bad.

I'm pretty sure LX is a better DAC.  Having said that, the additional clarity is not always a good thing either when not every recording is done perfectly.  It may sound weird but I want to mask some of those imperfections with less precision sometimes because I'm not trying to analyze the music...
