Seeing a lot of companies enter the full sized wireless arena recently. For those who have heard a number these, what have been your favourite / on par with the technicalities of a good wired headphones? Do they have some way to go to reach those heights?

I found the midrange on the Auteurs really wonky sounding, and am baffled to why people would think they're "famed" in this area. Audeze would make perfect headphones, if it wasn't for the weight.

They're hot, but usable if you're comfortable having limited play on the volume knob (getting LOUD at 9 'o' clock on the dial). At least that was my experience with a 150W external speaker amplifier, for listening without headphones.

If the mrk1 Th900 are anything like the D7000s, you'll eventually fall victim to the cable twisting and tangling over time. This alone is the reason I got my D7000s terminated with removable cables, and the reason I would definitely buy a mrk2 over the mrk1.

Even the dual 2.5mm to 1/4" oxygen free copper cables on eBay from China sound good and are nice quality. Couldn't tell the difference between it and the big name brands. People put way too much faith in cables, in my opinion.

Common problem with Audeze headphones, unfortunately - get them repaired.   If they're very new Audeze should pay for shipping both ways, if less than a year old, you'll have to pay shipping, over a year and I think you'll pay for everything including the repair.

  Maybe stitch leather into the inside of the vegan pads, within the channels where sound passes though before it gets to you ear.   Result: The unmolested sound of the leather pads, with the softness and cool temp of the vegan pads?

Additionally, I'm running the 6SN7 tubes on 6.3 / 300 settings, is this correct?   What is the best resource for finding both types of voltage for a particular tube type? I don't have the LG manual, will that help?
