I had a chance to try my HD540 with the famous microzotl headphone amplifier by LTA at CAF 2018 and wow!!!! Never heard my headphones sounded so good. I think it is the best headphones amp I heard so far.

  The reason I asked is because I notice that there are some amplifier out there that can handle both electrostatic and dynamic headphones at the same time like the vostok sound for instance or the one in this picture      So I was just curious if it is possible to mod a stax amplifier

This is becoming more and more complicated. Man, there are too many choice, K3003, IE800, Togo 334, JH16 and JH13 etc... and now SE846. I wish there is a place/festival in the East coast where you can try them all at once so you can compare/decide.
