So they're still making my ears feel pretty hot after about 15 minutes, does anyone have any ideas on how I can alleviate this?- Bobby9

From PX100-II to V-Moda M80 (upgrade?)
I'm pretty sure I had the PX100 probably like 6 years ago so I don't remember them that much but I remember them being alright but they were open. I have the M80s and I can almost guarantee you'll feel like it's a big upgrade, not just in sound but the quality of the actual headphones too.- Bobby9

V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews
Val, is the immortal life program only applicable to the same headphone? Basically I'd like to know that if in the future I want to replace my M80s with M100s I could get them for 50% off.- Bobby9

On/over ear headphones under $200
If isolation is really important the M80s are not exactly what you're looking for.- Bobby9

After getting my M80s I can tell I'd prefer the comfort of an over the ear design but $300 is out of my range. Maybe I'll wait a year or so and get a used pair.- Bobby9

V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews
Just got a used pair that was 4-5 months old. First impressions are definitely the most bass heavy headphones I've heard. Using my Galaxy Nexus I have to use the volume pretty high to get my desired sound level but on a laptop I'm just below 50%. I think I'd like them to clamp a just a tad...- Bobby9

Headphone Under $200
It looks like the V-Moda M-80 is what you want (Except for the on ear vs over the ear). http://www.head-fi.org/t/578207/v-moda-crossfade-m-80-reviews- Bobby9

So what do I get if I don't like the ATH-M50?

So what do I get if I don't like the ATH-M50?
I've used IEMs exclusively and when using my friend's ATH-M50 I didn't like it too much. It's hard to describe what I didn't like, the music didn't feel as "close" to me. I've used Jays q-Jays, UE700s, and Meelectronics A151s out of which the Jays were my favorite. I'm in the $150 range and my...- Bobby9

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
So I'm looking to move away from IEMs because my Meelectronics A151s are starting to hurt my ears after long use. I'm in the less than $150 range and my main wishlist is something that's comfortable, closed(I want isolation/Can't have leakage), semi-portable, probably above average bass, and...- Bobby9

Any owners to the new A151?
Quote: It's pretty much what you expect. A wider range and soundstage with lows and highs being clearer. I understand what you're saying about the lots of instruments playing at once, it's not as distinct as I'd like.- Bobby9

Any owners to the new A151?
Quote: Yeah, unfortunately I had to go from q-Jays to these because they broke and were out of warranty. I guess they do what they can for a single BA. As for Comply sizes the 100 should fit because my q-Jays tips fit and on Comply's website they recommend the 100 for them.- Bobby9

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Just got my Meelec A151s, coming from a dual armature pair I can tell the difference with the range and the impact of the bass. I'd say they're at about the price they should be.- Bobby9

My only concert with Etymotic is the triple flange tip. I've never felt comfortable with those and I don't want to have to buy comply tips or anything like that. The CK10's look like they're out of my price range.- Bobby9

Have had two IEMs break on my the past three years, what do I get now?
In 08 I bought a pair of q-Jays and loved them. Eventually one of the channels cut out so I replaced under warranty. It was all good until the same thing happened to that pair after the warranty expired so I figured whatever I'll try a different company. I bought UE 700's and really liked them...- Bobby9
