I'm thinking of upgrading from my M-80's, can anyone tell me if that's worth it?

So they're still making my ears feel pretty hot after about 15 minutes, does anyone have any ideas on how I can alleviate this? 

I'm pretty sure I had the PX100 probably like 6 years ago so I don't remember them that much but I remember them being alright but they were open. I have the M80s and I can almost guarantee you'll feel like it's a big upgrade, not just in sound but the quality of the actual headphones too. 

Get some V-Moda LP2s. You'll love the bass. 

Val, is the immortal life program only applicable to the same headphone? Basically I'd like to know that if in the future I want to replace my M80s with M100s I could get them for 50% off. 

M80s have more than enough bass for me. 

If isolation is really important the M80s are not exactly what you're looking for.

Just got my Meelec A151s, coming from a dual armature pair I can tell the difference with the range and the impact of the bass.    I'd say they're at about the price they should be. 

People who buy Beats headphones aren't buying them for the sound quality. Kinda like Bose.

Yeah but the UE's broke after the warranty was expired so it doesn't do me any good. 

My only concert with Etymotic is the triple flange tip. I've never felt comfortable with those and I don't want to have to buy comply tips or anything like that.    The CK10's look like they're out of my price range.
