I don't believe in burn in but we'll leave that out here. I've seen many wars between burn in vs non burn in.   The stock tips are really crap though. Using the ones off eBay with a red core increases the seal and isolation but still dark sounding to my ears. 

Received two pairs but unfortunately I don't really like them OOTB. Sounds dark with weak mids and highs. Have to do some real A/Bing though as I'm not an audiophile so it could be that I'm too used to my KC06A and IM02 lately.

Does anyone know where I can order a case like the mini pelican type case I got with my AuGlamour R8s?      Obviously the cheaper the better. I imagine if they're bundling it with a $30 IEM it can't be that expensive.    I've searched things like "earphone case" "earphone hard case"...

Shame the mids are average but I personally find a mild V shape really "fun" anyway. I wonder how it compares to one of my favourite sub $100 IEMs, the KC06A. 

Very interesting! I haven't tried hybrids before mainly because I never liked the look of any of them and they weren't that cheap for the well reviewed ones but at this price I'm willing to try them out, even if I don't like the look of them. Not to mention I'm a bit of a Xiaomi fanboy too.

Thanks for that, I've taken the plunge! Are the ED10s designed to be worn over ear or straight down or can they be worn both ways? I've got the ATE but due to the fit the isolation is horrible so I don't really use them much even though their sound quality is really good.
