Hi, I am planning my new desktop system, which will most probably include benchmark dac1 hdr, and my question is, if would be better to connect it through USB or through my soundcard (Xonar Essence STX) thanks :)

I was thinking all night, and my final decision is, that i will buy most probably Colorfly C4, because i can buy it from Deutschland, which is nearer to me, and because of design, which i  actually fell in love with :D...I read many things about that hifiman 801 is better, but i´ll not use it as...

So, i first wanted to buy an external amp, but I decided, that it will be better to have a new mp4, and I really want hiiiigh end :) (now i have Cowon S9) I have searched through this forum, and i found two candidates: Hifiman HM-801 and Colorfly C4 I looked for the pros and contras, a what...

Now i have two options, that I can make : 1. sell cowon, buy hifiman (601 or 602, depends on how much money i´ll have) and buy pico and connect it via line out 2. buy hifiman hm-801 and nothing else (my friend heard it, and said, that it is sounding even better than Benchmark  DAC)

I still want to have this as a portable, so I don´t know how much portable is to take with me Ipod+ Clabs solo + pico + shures :D

Now i got an idea, that i would sell my cowon, for the money buy hifiman hm-601 and later connect it with pico slim through line-out...that seems to be the best I can do now ;) :)

Yes, it does, but I can hear, that something could be better than that it is now ;)

I have no experience with this, but i assumed, that i will put one side of the cable to my mp4 through jack input where I normally put earphones, and the other side into amp, and that´s it...it doesn´t work like this? ;)

I have Cowon + Shure as a portable rig, so i want to  finish this first, and then i will do something for home listening, incl. custom earphones and some good amp etc. , but i dont want to take custom earphones out, i am too scared that i would do something to them :D By the way, I am only 16...

and does some cable go with them or i have to buy one? (3,5mm to 3,5mm)

Do you think  gain in audio quality will be bigger than with hifiman mp4s?

Hi, i am looking for a portable headphone amp for my shureSE535 (using with Cowon S9)  price limit is +-800 Dolars. Or would it be better to get new player? (Something like hifiman hm-801) Thanks :)
