Are the V-Moda Crossfade LPs worth 60 bucks?

V-Moda is running a special promotion for employees of the company I work for, which is 70% off all V-Moda headphones. That brings the price of the Crossfade LPs down to 60 bucks. I am thinking of buying them as throw around/travel headphones, as it wouldn't be a huge loss if they broke or I...

Just picked up a pair of Denon AH-D7000 headphones

It really sounds amazing! It is so warm and the low end is great!             Sorry for the sideways pics. :(

Good over ear headphones for 200-300 dollars?

My friend is looking for a good, all around pair of over ear or on ear headphones for between 200-300 dollars. He does not want to buy an amp, nor will he probably ever buy an amp, so he needs a pair that works great with just an iPhone. He can get 50% off all Monster and V-Moda products, so I...

    HiFiMAN RE0 vs. RE-ZERO

I thought Fang gave me the RE-ZERO but as I looked closer, it says RE0 on the box. What are the sound difference between the two. I guess Fang changed boxes, because the RE0 I have comes in a different box than the RE0 online (more like the RE-ZERO box). This nomenclature is making my mind...

How do you guys like the mockup?

I really like the fiberglass look, but I am not 100% sure if I want to do the JH Logo or something else, like the others that say "JH Audio" and then "JH 16 PRO" on the other ear. Any input would be great!

I know this makes me a bad employee, but.....

I want people to buy the best money can buy them. I buy and sell high end watches for a living and go to college, but because that doesn't take up much of my time, I am also a specialist at a local boutique electronics and computer store, so my question is, when people are looking to purchase...

How are the HiFiMAN RE-ZERO IEMs?

Fang was nice enough to give me a pair for free because I bought an HM-801, HE-6 and EF5 all together. He said they are better than any IEMs under 300 bucks. I trust Fang, but this seems like a bit of exaggeration to say they are better or almost as good as my IE8i IEMs. So how do people like...

I can't get a good fit with my Sennheiser IE8i IEMs...

... No matter what tip I use, I can't get a good seal, so they don't sound that great. Are there any aftermarket options I could buy? It's a shame they don't fit anywhere near as well as my old SE530s did. Thanks!

What to get for Xmas (Senn HD800 vs. Grado PS1000, or something else)?

So, I need to choose what to get for Xmas soon as my dad is leaving for Saudi Arabia on Wed and doesn't come back until Xmas, so he needs to buy what I want now. This is what I own now: Sennheiser IE8i B&W P5 JH-16 Pro with JH-3A (coming before Xmas hopefully) iPhone (my current portable...

Are there any small music players with a USB digital out?

I spoke with Jerry over at JH-Audio (who is a very nice guy BTW, and it's not common that a company CEO answers questions for a customer, so I really appreciate his help) about the JH-3A, and apparently, if I am not mistaken, it will have a mini USB input so it can be used as a DAC, and because...

Due to the fact that my future portable rig will not be so portable...

I am looking for some IEMs that are nice, small and not too expensive. My main setup will be a HiFiMAN 801 with JH-3A and JH-16, which is not that portable, so I am looking to buy some Sennheiser IE8s. I found this auction, which looks like a great price:  ...

Anyone other than SquareTrade offer aftermarket accidental damage warranties?

I just ordered a pair of JH 16 Pro's, but I am so afraid that I am going to accidentally damage them, so I ordered a 3 year aftermarket warranty from SquareTrade for 209.99 (minus a 30 dollar discount, so 179.99) that covers accidental damage (they don't cover negligence, like giving them to a...

So I just ordered a pair of JH 16 Pro's.... now what?

I spent a few months chosing between the JH 16, UE 18 and Westone ES5, but I finally went for the JH 16s. I just don't know what to do to "pimp" out my JH 16's. I usually listen to music through my iphone, so I was looking to buy a DAC that could connect to the 30 pin adapter on the bottom of...
