I just attempted to update on my 15S and could not.

I wasn’t aware this was a warranty issue. Purchased a new pair of pads after being unhappy with the foam misalignment of one of my pads. Same thing happened within a week of getting the new pads. Wasted $60.

Nothing wrong with the monkeypods. Mine sound incredible and looks are nothing to be ashamed of!

Thanks. Is this true for all the pads—thicker in the back?

I haven't used my Atticus in a while and forgot which way the Ori pads should be oriented. Thicker side towards the front of the ears or back of ears? Or does it not matter?

I never experienced this with my set up. I’m not doubting what you heard just providing an alternate experience. My V281 is dead silent with my headphones.

Can the 6J7 tubes be used in the 6SN7 socket with an adapter (i.e. with dual CJ5 to 6SN7 adapter)? On the GOTL Tube Compatibility Table it shows in the C3g driver section.

Monster, can you be specific regarding a few of the tubes you prefer for the VC vs. VO? Not that everyone prefers the same tubes, but curious if the tubes I am targeting for my upcoming GOTL have me covered for when I get a Verite of my own. Much appreciated!

Hi Mordy, what brand C3g tubes do you have and any major audio difference between them that you can tell? My GOTL build will have the C3g sockets but I have not sourced any C3g tubes yet.
