Yea totally agree. That stock pads get hot and sticky. I've noticed that the Z1R has different ear pads that don't get as hot. Thanka for that input and I have a much better understanding of what I'm working with.

Is the MHA100 red LED standby light supposed to turn off when the MHA100 is powered on? Or is the red LED supposed to be on even when the unit is powered on?
