I've been looking at the earpads on the new Sony MDR-1A does anyone know if these will fitmy old Sony MDR-1R? If so where can I order them?

Does anyone know where to get replacement ear pads for these? and will they also fit on the old Sony MDR-1R??

I've searched the forums and various electronic cabling stores and I cannot find any 1/8M to 1/4M cables. I'm not looking for anything expensive <$30 would be ideal and roughly 1.7m-2.0m in length would be great.   Thanks

I just found a HFI-780 listed for $175, are these really better than the M50?

Hey, I'm looking for a nice pair of closed headphones $100-$200 range only being used for music. I mainly listen to trance but techno and progressive sometimes source will be mp3 and lossless. I have looked at the HD448, but want some other chooses aswell and opinions!!
