Well, I finally ponied up for a Sennheiser HD-650. Ive been working my can off and well thought I deserved a treat. Here are my thoughts on it after Ive been jammin on the EL-8 open, Sennheiser Momentum BT, the Etymotic ER-4xr, and my various other cans. Im a horrible writer so bear with me...

ok, question...... now I know impedance, and sensitivity play into how easy a can is to drive. something puzzles me. I have the AKG k-160 600x2 ohm 98 dec sensitivity  headphones, and a myriad of lower impedance, higher sensitivity headphones. so the question is, how, and why  can the 600 ohm...

I just impulsively bought a AKG k160 that is listed at 600 ohm. My E11 amp is rated recommended up to 150 ohm. Is there any danger in putting a 600ohm load onto a 150ohm (recommended) amp? Also the K160 is showing its a 2x600 ohm...... What does that mean. I've never seen a headphone 2x ()ohm...

Am I the only one annoyed at the fact that pretty much Grado Labs is the only headphone maker that still designs, and manufactures most of their headphones in the country of origin? Lol everything is made in china! With quality going lower and lower.
