Dear Fiio,   no, there is no operation behind it. It happens suddenly and automatically. After the last update actually on a daily basis - which means I have to download my Spotify songs every day! Spotify is almost unusable now!   It never happend on my phone or my former (Android) player...

I was just wondering: Is the material of the 10s and 20s exactly the same? Just the color and internals are different?

It was confirmed by others and also by Fiio earlier in this thread!  Is sounded like they are working on it, though.   So far there really seem to be a lot of problems to use Spotify on the X5iii. I really hope these can be solved soon, otherwise I am also thinking of returning the player...

I find it interesting that people seem to think about the sound of the 20s and 10s so differently. Some say the 10 sounds "airier", some the 20s.  Some say the bass is more present on the 10s, some on the 20s.    Ordered the 10s by myself and can`t wait.

Well, it`s not that you cannot use the Fiio. Don`t worry! It`s just you won`t have a such a fluent experience as with a modern smart phone - at least that is how it feels to me. If you open an app or tap on a button, for example, often you will have a little lag. But that is still really alright...
