It gets to a point where there really isn't much of an upgrade to be had with headphones/IEMs. (unless you jump to the 1000$+ customs) You might find  better performance and/or bang for your buck upgrading your DAP or amp at this point. :-)

Kinda waiting to see what the C60 looks like too.  I've heard they're dropping the micro SD slot though, which would be a serious bummer.

Agreed, cj3029.  ALO is one of my favorite companies in this industry to deal with.  I've had nothing but prompt replies to my questions and by far the fastest shipping around.

I prefer my iMod 5.5g, but like the Cowon players as well.  I have a friend that loves his Hifiman, but I honestly don't care for it at all.  While SQ is the most important quality in a DAP to me, it has to be a complete package at the same time.  aka.. relatively small, decent battery life...

I really wish Robert would offer different shipping methods.  Free shipping is always nice, but I'd have gladly paid for Fedex/UPS, purely because of superior tracking and accountability on that end.   (faster shipping would be welcomed too)

Im wondering if anyone out there has experience with both of these amps and could give some feedback on which they enjoy more.   I currently have the Headstage (and imod/cable) on order, but after doing some math the Mk2 + iMod/cable combo packages on Alo's site end up being about the same cost...

Hey Soul,  in your profile you list having an Arrow 12HE and an iPod classic.  Any chance you could snap a picture of these two together?  Are they roughly the same size? - looking for a nice source pair for my arrow. (on order)

Thanks for the awesome review Skylab.  I'm really thinking about picking one of these amps up, is there any way you can post a picture or two of the amp next to your ipad?  It's hard from all of the pictures i've seen to get a good idea for how big this unit actually is.
