there is a very TINY difference between wired and bluetooth (iphone) IMO. Nothing that would lessen my enjoyment of using the 5k but it is there. I became really aware of it while listening to Permission by Ro James. In the beginning there's a part of the song I can't hear when it's bluetooth...

Anyone here use this with a mest mk2? just curious what eq (if any) you guys are using. I've never EQ'd in the past, figured I'd have some fun with it.

thinking about picking up a 5k soon. Will be pairing it with my iphone on the go and desktop/mac via usb when at home. Seeing as the iphone bluetooth codecs are still stuck in the cavemen era (afaik), will it still work well via bluetooth or should I use it wired with the iphone?

Wondering what should I 'step up' to? These IEMs sounds really good for most of the music I listen to but I feel lacks bass when listening to hiphop. Was thinking of maybe getting the monarch mk2 or the mest mk2. I don't mind buying used and want to keep the budget around $900-1k.

so I'm thinking of buying the m50 pads soon and pairing this with my micro amp.  Problem is, I used to have an itouch4g that was stolen...so now I don't really have an LOD to connect to the amp.  Word is that the itouch5g (which i have) outputs sounds really well already.  Should I just connect...

So to start off, question regarding the Itouch 5th gen with it's lightning connector.  I was thinking about buying the adapter so I can still use my 30pin LOD and connect it to my portable amp BUT just read a thread on here that said the itouch 5th gen sounds "clean" already that adding an LOD...
