Like the Playaz N3? Xears have the brand new nature N3i!

i have the original n3's and enjoyed them more than tdIII and s4's.  I just really disliked the J-cord and large wooden housing.  I'm really pleased to see it back in the xears line up, however as a true iphone compatible earphone it really should have the ability of play, pause, forwarding and...

    Playaz N1

Xears have confirmed that the new n3 has the same driver as playaz n3. Unfortunately the iphone mic is only capable of stopping tracks and taking phone calls.  No ability to pause, skip or go to previous track   Its good to see n3's back on the market but introducing an iphone compatible...

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

Hi Joker,   I have another review request from xears.  They are the xears nature N3.  I have the playaz nature n3 and rank them highly and am wondering if they are based on the same.  Any chance you can get Thomas to send you a sample pair to review?  ...

    Playaz N1

Hi All,   I'm just speculating here but it looks like N3's may have been revived in the form of xears nature n3i.   If these sound like the n3 and have iphone remote that can play/pause/skip tracks, it would make me a very happy man  ...

ok so mine arrived and here are my impressions.  No burn in and used for 3 hours so far.  I don't think i'll be saying anything that hasn't already been said about these phones buy here it goes anyway.  Please consider that im not experienced in describing sound quality: - Build is excellent. ...

    New: Sunrise Sw-Xcape Ver 2

I don't like how the seller is quoting reviews by joker and yourself ClieOS.  Mainly because your reviews relate to what we know as 'sunrise v1'.   This is very misleading.

Need some suggestions on IEMs at or near $100 without heavy bass

if you consider sunrise xcape, make sure to get version 1's and not version 2.  Have read V2 is not as clear as V1.

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

I agree.  no better way than to compare side by side.  However the wallet takes a bit of a beating.  Its also worth keeping in mind Jokers impression of the IEMs as you hear them.  I.e you'll get to understand what joker considers to have too much/little bass, forward/recessed mids etc.  This in...

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions

hhmmm lots of varied opinions of se215 vs S4i.  My expectations are that se215 is better.  Hopefully they meet or exceed my expectations when they arrive.     If comparing iphone models and s4i turns out to be better, s4i would be the better buy given it is mic ready whereas a separate $50...

Did you purchase xcape ver 1 or version 2?   I have version 1 and experienced no such bloat or muffle.  There is a thread on version 2 and reviews and opinions have seem to be mixed.

Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review

Hi,   Can anyone provide some comparisons of HJE900 bass to other models.  For reference, bass levels i find satisfying are: - klipsch s4 - playaz n3   Xears TDIII - slightly too much bass for me.  Maybe its just had too much bass rumble.  I don't mind a little rumble but this...

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

Hi all,   Thank you for all the great suggesstions.  Phitaons are a bit expensive for the purposes i wish to use them for.     RP-15MC seems it could do the trick but why is it orange in colour :P   As i understand px200 lacks in the bass and i'll try out hd228 or hd218

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

is there a portable headphone that has similar bass to px100 and is: a) As portable as px100 or slightly larger / foladble b) Is a closed design so that it doesn't leak out too much sound and isolates better?   A similar sound to px100 or px100-II is also fine.

    Playaz N1

^...you know what.  I'd be happy with n3's with just a Y cable     i just sampled meelec CC51's.  They are very good and very close to N3's but fall behind slightly in bass. N3's have just a bit more bass and a bit more depth.  Its a small difference but its enough of a difference that makes...

    IEM suggestions ~$100 Australian

i agree with the above.  Use the scores to shortlist (i usually factor budget, overal sq + comfort), but then read the description regarding the traits you like in a sound signature.  E.g For me there has to be a solid bass presence (but not too much to be labelled as bass heavy).  While i would...

    IEM suggestions ~$100 Australian

hi,   i also went by headphonics claims and purchased the vsonics.  They were my first IEM purcahse.  They are OK phones which i purchase almost 3 years ago.  But times have changed and at that price point, there are much better options IMO.  I would recommend checking out jokers thread of...
