Selling my Sennheiser HD 800S headphones with box, cable, and XLR cable. These are the Made in Germany version, not the Ireland versions like these days. I believe it was purchased in 2019, and they have been used since then. Pads are fine and can be used, but could also benefit from new pads...

Fellow audiophiles, I have this theory that people actually would enjoy owning a beautiful, high quality, premium pen that writes super well, has wonderful balance, a nice heft, and can last a long time... but there's really not been a pen that has come across their way that has those...

I had that too with the screw. You have to do about 5-10 minutes of surgery.    Take off the pads, unscrew the driver, then just tighten the screw underneath that metal thing. It'll come right back in, and you're good to go. It was easy enough for me. You just need a very small screwdriver.

Truth is that I've been downgrading my setup to simplify, but am left now with just an Apogee Duet 2 headphone out to run a pair of headphones.   I still do want to maximize what headphone I use with this source/amp, but am wondering if I feel like I'll miss out too much by getting a headphone...

I'm curious to hear your guys' opinions on what you guys would consider "the best" headphone you would own if you did not own an amp (or could not get one).    I'll start. I'm starting to think perhaps a high end Grado (PS500, RS1, PS1000) might be the best option?

The setup I've had for the past year or so?    Meier StageDAC -> Headamp GS-1 -> Audeze LCD-2 Rev 2 / Sennheiser HD 800 / MartinLogan Purity Speakers   Having some scotch in the meanwhile doesn't hurt either.

Hello,   I am in the process of receiving a Headamp GS-1 but there seems to be one thing I really want to change about it.   Currently the preamp-out is always active, even when the headphones are plugged into the front of the amp.   I have powered speakers without any volume control...
