Ooh I like this type of tuning. Listen to it yourself and see if you can hear it, personally I usually keep those peaks since I can't hear them.- Xymordos

Can you test a random IEM? Any one will do just to see if it is leaking. If you're using the original soundcard that came with the IEC711 it shouldn't need calibration.- Xymordos

What's your measurement setup? I'm pretty sure the 2ohm parallel resistor is ruining the measurements.- Xymordos

Ah sorry you need to low pass the 31618, I'm not sure of your tube lengths, but purely guessing, you can try using something like 20ohms in series, and 68uf in parallel. I usually trial and error this part lol- Xymordos

Perhaps try flipping the polarity of the HODVTEC, though I would still prefer to use a series resistor here instead of a parallel one.- Xymordos

Purely based on the two graphs I would suspect the blue to be better. However, I think green probably will sound more likeable to me personally.- Xymordos

This 6mm planar works like a planar (rather than say the Square Planar). But honestly the voice coil design still throws me off as it is wound more like a dynamic driver than a planar driver with its traces laid out.- Xymordos

Yeah I think you explained it better than me. It just felt more similar to a DD than a planar to me for some reason.- Xymordos

I think it's just that the construction is somewhere in between the two, or perhaps more similar to a dynamic driver than a planar. It looks like to me a flat diaphragm, with the coil of a dynamic, but a magnet layout of a planar.- Xymordos

I bought a sample batch of 20 or something, and they were pretty badly matched, might be just bad luck for me. The pair that came in the KZ CRN was actually off by 20db on one side lol. They also had super strong magnets in them - I don't think they can be used too close to the BA drivers.- Xymordos

They are terribly matched, really expensive at RMB50 per piece too. The KZ CRN used them (I think) and the drivers in the iem I got were matched terribly too.- Xymordos

Funnily enough I've heard some iems with a huge 3khz peak and they don't sound that bad actually. Not ideal for sure but not terrible.- Xymordos
