Hm I wonder if my o2/odac would help the mids but theyre meant to be flat and reference so probably not. Also what ever happened to the alternate size/velour ear pads for the m100? I'm most likely going to buy these and if I like them and stick with them I'd happily be a test subject on pads...

I think I find my hd600 a little dull sometimes whereas my m80s make my music a little more enjoyable/fun. With classical though the hd600 is much more emotional. I'm probably going to do this even if I'm apprehensive, I'll definitely try the digital freak mod too when I get them.

My DAC is the M-audio protrack like I said, my music is from my pc -> usb m-audio device -> O2-> Hd600. I do technically need a better DAC but like I said I'm on the fence between a new amp or a new DAC because I hear many people loving tube amps with their hd600s and I've also heard many things...

I have the ability to build my own amp but would you say one is better than the other?  

Who did the impressions and remold? I'm sure someone like JH audio wouldn't mess up too often and whenever I decide to get a CIEM I'll be sure to get an audiologist to do the impression since I don't trust myself in doing anything haha.

Just got mine from the refurbished deal, they sound great but right off the bat the little gold plastic at the bottom of the relief is falling off and it slides down the cable on each earbud... Im contacting monster tomorrow.

I like the shadows but I also like the white headphones. Just does the white get dirty? However, I'd be totally fine with an m-100 looking just like a bigger m-80 so color doesn't really affect me haha.

I just wanted to say that I love V-moda and hope I can get some m-100s when they come out and also future audiophile phones. My m-80s are still 1 of my favorites even while owning the hd600s.
