I was looking for an economical tube/hybrid amp for my office. I'm using a Marantz SA8005 CD player with only RCA outputs. My question is will I notice any difference between the SE and Balanced outputs using SE inputs? Some of my headphones are SE, and some XLR.

Has anyone tried the new ZMF Beyer or Ori pads with adapter on their Grados? If so, how do they sound, or fit?

I just can't find information on where to find replacement earpads for my Hifiman HEXs. I like Dekoni Hybrids on my other headphones, but it doesn't look like they have the large oval models. Will any of the Brainwavz fit? If not, are there any other suggestions?
