I just grabbed a Yamaha CTX-S90 Preamplifier/Tuner at the thrift. It has a headphone out on it. Just wanted to know your opinions on using this preamp as a dedicated headphone amp, and what I should expect?

I went on ebay in search for a vintage receiver for some headphones. I decided to stray away from my old Aiwa receiver. I bought this item for 30 bucks. It's a Soundesign 5969 AM / FM Stereo Receiver / Cassette Recorder. Would this be any good to power some cans?

I ordered these off ebay, and I got some weird headphones that don't look like DBI's to me. They say "Telescan" on the earcups. What the heck are these?

Ignoring any price difference, lets say they were both 150 USD, which can do you think is better for gaming? (In terms of soundstage, clarity, detail, mids/highs/lows, and comfort)

Hi, I am going to be running these cans off an X-fi XtremeGamer sound card. I mainly play FPS games and such. Which set of cans would run best on my sound card and which would be better for gaming?   Thank you!
