Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV

I forgot that they came out with an S version after I bought mine. I had the original 3.ai, but that is good to hear regardless.

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV

I get the Lyra IIs tomorrow. After 4 years of pretty much daily use the acrylic shells on my Heir 3.ai iems have started to crack. This is only my second pair of nice headphones (the Heirs being the first). Any songs/bands/genres that I should listen to to really showcase the Lyra II's strengths?

Thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2, are there any better options out there for me?

Quote: I thought the 5.0 didn't have the Wolfson DAC which the 4.2 has and is supposedly an improvement over the 5.0. I'm tossing around the idea of getting a Fiio X3 when they come out for my music and if the Galaxy 4.2 isn't up to my liking and just using the 4.2 for FM and a GPS. I could...

Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread

I am thinking about getting a pair of these or similarly priced IEMs. I am wondering if anybody has any experience with using them with a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2. I am not sure if the DAC in the Galaxy is good enough for these phones and I don't want to be super disappointed if I do get them...

Thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2, are there any better options out there for me?

I am thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2. My reasons, in order, are as follows:   It has an FM radio. I really want to listen to the radio at work so this would be perfect for that. It plays FLAC, which I will have on it when I am not listening to the radio. It can...

Looking for a portable MP3/FLAC player that has an FM radio in it. ipod nano or something else?

Quote:   I am using it at work so it will just sit on my desk. It's not like I am going to be jogging with it.

Spending $30 on an MP3 player and then $400 on IEM just doesn't make sense to me.

If I'm getting a cheapo MP3 player wouldn't I want a DAC that is better than the one in the MP3 player itself?

Looking for a portable MP3/FLAC player that has an FM radio in it. ipod nano or something else?

Hello!   I am looking for a portable MP3/FLAC player that also has an FM receiver in it. I know the 7th gen ipod nano has an FM reviver in it, but should I look at other devices? I realize that it doesn't play FLAC, but it can play Apple lossless which is fine for me. I probably will be...

What Headphones Should I Get? ($100-$130)

Been reading the forums and it seems like the AT AD-700s are highly recommended. What about those? BTW the music I listen to is mostly rap and all the speakers/headphones that I've had pretty much crap out at 35Hz. Hearing something below that would be so cool.

What Headphones Should I Get? ($100-$130)

Those look like they rest on your ears. I want something that is bigger than your ears. Maybe circumaural is a better term than over the ear?

What Headphones Should I Get? ($100-$130)

Hello all. I am in the market for some headphones that are of the over the ear variety. My price range is pretty much $130 max. I will use them with my computer. I can either plug them into my motherboard (it has a 3.5mm, digital and optical out) or I can plug my computer into my old (from the...
