Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 Impressions Thread
After three TWS 3 replacements, the store I bought them from accepted money back. First pair broke in a week, second pair was good for a month, third pair worked for about 6-9 months. There was a 5-6 week delay between all replacement devices sent for repair. All exhibited the same problem. Left...- maarek99

Help With Firmware update for Sennheiser HDV 820
That looks like a very wonky folder. My setup folder consists of only one file and one release notes .doc. You downloaded that straight from Sennheiser?- maarek99

Sennheiser HD800 S Impressions Thread (read first post for summary)
Depends. I upgraded from the 650 to the 800 S and for me it worked great! I still occasionally reach for the 650 still but the 800 S is a great upgrade.- maarek99

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
My HD 800 just had it's rubber insulation cracked too. It cracked itself, didn't twist it or drop anything on it... Oh my lord how expensive these cables are! Bought my HD 800 in 2013 so the cables lasted for four years.- maarek99

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I also had the T1 and sold it (preferred the HD650, and by a huge margin) That's why I was surprised how much I love the HD800.- maarek99

Asus Essence One Headphone Amp/DAC (CeBIT 2011)
I have to say...I have the HD800, Asus Essence ONE muses edition, and a Lake People G100 headphone amp and it is glorious. One of the really surprising facets as that almost all sibilance is completely gone. I don't know how that is possible but this combo sounds really nice.- maarek99

HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
The ONLY headphone that uses a ring radiator driver is the HD800. Just to give you an example: HD650 left, HD800 right.- maarek99

HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
T1 does not have a ring radiator driver. It is a Sennheiser patent. The T1 uses regular drivers.- maarek99

HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
Except the Beyerdynamic T1 has a WAY worse peak at 6-10khz. HD800: http://www.innerfidelity.com/images/SennheiserHD800.pdf T1: http://www.innerfidelity.com/images/BeyerdynamicT1.pdf I would not say that this is an issue because of a ring driver.- maarek99

HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
One thing though... If that peak is because of the ring driver, then why do so many regular driver headphones have it too?- maarek99

HD800 to HD650 Sound Signature Conversion + Dolby Headphone - Comment & Discuss!
Works pretty well, sounds way closer to the HD650 but still retains some of the HD800 magic. Though my dac + amp combo is already warm enough but I feel this could work wonders with some soundcards + hd800 combinations.- maarek99

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
When I plug the HD800 to the Asus Essence STX, it has too much treble and clinical. When I plug them into the V-DACII paired with a Lake People G100 amp, it sounds very neutral with almost no treble boost. When I plug it into my Onkyo stereoamp, it's somewhere in between but still sounds...- maarek99

[REVIEW] HiFiMAN HE-500 vs Sennheiser HD600
Quote: Agree with this. My 650's spanked the HE-500 in the mids. And now my HD800 is in a completely different league.- maarek99

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
I meant that the HD800 was an upgrade (from the hd650) in the sense that it does sound better. It still sounds considerably different though to warrant keeping the HD650 around.- maarek99

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
Quote: For me the HD800. The T1 I had was way brighter and edgier in the treble and the mids were not nearly as nice as on the HD800. My HD800 is awesome. And YES. I also like even the HD650 better than the T1. I first "upgraded" from the HD650 to the T1 but I really did not dig...- maarek99

So is the HD600 the most neutral headphone in the world?
I'm just listening to the HD800 being driven by the Lake People G100 and a V-DAC II. Sounds pretty damn neutral. HD650 with these is a bass bloated mess (still love them though too)- maarek99

Is the Asus Xonar Essence STX and Sennheiser HD650 a good combo?
I never liked the sound of the STX with HD650. HD650 has beautiful...lush...mids. But not with the STX.- maarek99

Tinnits headphones
Sennheiser HD650 is one of the BEST headphones for people with sensitive hearing. It is a very mid-centric phone with almost no energy up top compared to some Grados. Really recommended.- maarek99
