The reviewers yes are generally full of something that begins with S, however in the case of the Blons the reviewers are absolutely spot on. They sound wonderful, yeah the nozzels are a little short, just use different tips, they are so cheap for what they deliver, experiment.

Having owned and also do own many monitors in this price range, my advice to you is as follows: Buy the KZ ZS10 Pro on Amazon for £40 and smile at both the music they reproduce and also the money you saved. Seriously, they are that good and the only reason they don't score higher on the reviews...

I'll second the KZ ZS10 Pro, I do prefer that to my Blons, the Bass is certainly more defined and accurate and as others have said, little more treble. But, they can't beat the mids on the Blon so perhaps just EQ the mid bass down a bit on your Blons and buy some expensive steak with the money...
