i went from turbines to ie8 huge difference the soundstage is so wide and interactive, lush mids and better bass   from my experience the fiio e5 made my clip sound worse, it made my iphone and galaxy S sound better tho     i really dont think u need an e5 if ur planning to use the clip

if ur just using it for work with ibasso i wouldnt bother   squeezebox touch isnt cheap and its more a luxury having a touch screen network player    its like perfect iciing to your hifi setup

if you to keep your budget low go for a 2nd hand pair of a5 or else a new pair of a2's with a new sound card   theres a xonar ds i think which has cost like 70usd on amazon which uses a wolfson dac   that should be a good low cost setup and later on if you want to invest more you can get...

no dont do that and why would u want to   just plug ur hd650 into the headphone slot and the speakers to the rcas

no asus softtware enables u to choose the output in windows its a very good setup and very easy to switch takes 1sec

look for a second hand nad or cambridge stereo integrated amp

i would get the xonar skip the whole fiio line   then if u want to venture and spend more go to a higher tier of dac/amp   dont buy both xonar and external amp

i sold my xonar to fund my fun and downsized to the auzentech studio and it doenst compete to the essence stx   its such a good card, wish i didnt sell

btw isolation on ie8s are horrid   i would just buy the one that cost cheaper i think ie8 is cheaper than westone 3

m50 is an awesome low cost headphone dont worry it does not need amping, just enjoy your music and make sure its coming out of half decent source
