Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v56 and HQ v97)

i hope these have better quality joints between the earcups and headband. love the mobius but the cracks that very frequently happen at that joint suggests some kind of design issue.

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)

my source could definitely be better. just using my headphone out from my audio interface (scarlett solo) for now and i'll look to be upgrading to a jotunheim 2 or something similar. my headphone that i'm testing is the 560s which is supposed to be pretty decent for soundstage and imaging. for...

good luck with getting them fixed. i don't have warranty so if something like that happened to me, i'd assume i'd be screwed.

Places to demo headphones in Toronto?

bbr would probably be your best bet. have a good selection of the lower end all the way up to the flagship offerings from grado, denon, sennheiser, etc.

Looking for a new soundcard for my computer, tips/help?

i'm in a similar situation myself looking for great gaming AND music audio. i've been entertaining the idea of getting the titanium hd for a while and then maybe adding an amp like a matrix m-stage later on. i also wanted to get a dac as well, but i don't really like the idea of switching inputs...

would it be possible to find the performance of the titanium hd for gaming for cheaper? i know the titanium hd advertises itself as an audiophile card which means it tries to be an end all solution for music, movies and games. since I only want something that will give me great gaming...

    Denon D2000 vs D7000

depends what amp/dac you're using i guess. i could hear a difference between the two, definitely similar sounding headphones though. it may not be worth it to you to keep them, but to me i'd always regret it if i bought the d2000 after hearing its bigger brother. so yea, if you really can't tell...

    Denon AH-D7000

the audio-gd fun is pretty well priced. any experiences with this particular headphone? would you say the dac section is "future-proof" meaning if i want to upgrade headphones/amp later i can still depend on the dac sounding great? i know about the m-stage and have heard nothing but great things...

    Denon AH-D7000

decisions, decisions. going to be picking up an amp/dac for these very soon. any recommendations? would prefer a combo to save some space, but if i can get great sound from separate pieces for a great price that'd be nice. price is obviously a concern, i do not want to exceed $400. i was looking...
