JVC HA-RX700's arrived today - Left side is louder
So my JVC HA-RX700's arrived this morning and I'm quite impressed. Well except that I and others at work who've tried them immediately thought the left side is louder. Using balance controls confirms this. The left is louder and brighter, the right seems a little more distant and recessed at...- jddesigned

Superlux HD662F - Anyone heard em?
Superlux HD662F - Anyone heard em? I can find tons of info on the HD668B and 681, but was looking for inexpensive closed cans and came across the 662F's. So if anyone had any input/impressions etc on them that would be great.- jddesigned

Best low volume IEM under $150
Been guilty of letting my player get over 50% volume lately and it's flaring up my tinnitus. Dealt with it for 20+ years so no need to make this a hearing issues thread. Don't worry I'm the guy who wears earplugs to concerts and such. Anyways I wanna keep the Fuze under 50% volume with no...- jddesigned

OK I know what I want now in an IEM - suggestions please
OK I have M6's and won some Kicker EB141's. Love what the M6's do all around for the price, but the one thing I notice with the Kicker's and classical music is how much wider/bigger they sound - it's like you're there in the hall/theater. The little extra bass they have seems to help too. I've...- jddesigned

Need a better isolating Meelec M6
Be it my second IEM, but I've fallen in love with the sound of the Meelectronics M6's. I like what they do from bass to treble especially when I paid $30 shipped to Canada. Riding on the subway could be a lot better isolation wise and I know this cause the M11's do it great. I've been...- jddesigned

Canadian Deals: Sansz Fuze 2G - $9.96
I picked one up in-store yesterday at this price. Yes a 2G but you can of course use the microSD slot for more room. My firmware is V1. I phoned ahead to a few stores nearby showing 1 or 2 in stock and found one. SanDisk Sansa Fuze 2GB MP3 Player–Black | MP3 Players | Clearance Outlet |...- jddesigned

Do I have bad ears? Bad earbuds? Asking before I give up on portable music.
Greetings fine folks, My wife got me my first mp3 player for my birthday last week. I'm 37 now and years of nightclubs and car stereos have left me with a some tinnitus and I'm sure hearing loss. Listening to music in the car, watching movies, gaming with headphones doesn't bother my ears. If...- jddesigned
