The Solo3 isn't even in the same universe as the HD800S in any regard. Also, I have a pair of Solo 2 Wireless, which sound exactly like the Solo 3. I also have a $32 pair of Lasmex HB65 wireless headphones and they both look and sound better than the Solo 2's.

I do just want to reiterate, these are incredible sounding headphones, even over bt. I rank them just above the Mdr1000x and just behind the B&O H7 in terms of sound quality at this price range. The build, accessories, and comfort are too notch. It's the battery life and the beeping that killed...

No way the CF2W has 14 hours of battery life, unless there is something wrong with mine, which get roughly 10. But the worst part by far is the beeping once the battery gets low. After 8 hours of playback, these headphones start warning me about low battery. It's not like the other wireless...

  Neutron does have a lot of fine tuning options but at the end of the day I still can't say it sounds better than PowerAmp. Since it all comes down to the UI, then PowerAmp ftw by a mile.

I had a chance to A/B these against the B&W P7 at an Apple store recently. I like it more than the P7, and I like the P7 a lot. The H6 is the best looking portable headphone in existence if you ask me.

Give it up already george. The HD25 is good but they certainly have their weaknesses. No reason to feel threatened. You are not your headphones (Tyler Durden Voice). It won't be hard for a company like Sennheiser to best themselves, especially with the on-ear limitation gone.
