The experience is very different, so I find this very normal. I still like the SR-1b myself, even with the Magna being here No single headphone is perfect guys, never forget that. On top of that we all like to hear different things, so 1 headphone can't be liked by everyone. That said...

Not sure what you mean. The interface needs to be used with the Armageddon amp as well (+ compensation barrels), so there isn't really a "how Armageddon compares", as the interface always is needed. Atm I have 1 TI-1b interface (of the SR-1b) and one new interface of the Magna. I don't think...

The Atom 2 combo simply has a superb price/quality ratio. You can't go wrong with this budget friendly stack. A Recommended Buy for sure.

I actually haven't had the 109 with me for quite a while, and I don't always trust my memory. That said, I don't think these are comparable as they're so different. From a technical point of view, I have no doubt the Liric drivers are the better ones. Thank you for the kind words!

The headband design still is one of the best, and with the additional magnetic pads, it got even better. Sound-wise I find them to be an improvement over the original LIRIC, but it still isn't a headphone that can easily please the majority of all listeners (imo)
