Can anyone get in contact with Whiplash Audio?
Been trying to reach them for quite some time now. Voicemail box is full, emails to contact@whiplash and requests@whiplash... zero responses for the past 10 days. I have a Twag v2 that needs some repairs, possibly a replacement. Just wondering if anyone else here in the community has had any...- luvandp3ace

CanJam Music Appreciation Contest
I could listen to Bach Cello Suites by Yanos Starker all day on these. Detailed, rich, simple. HE-1000 would blow them away. I loved them at CanJam!- luvandp3ace

CanJam SoCal 2015, March 28-29, 2015
I once brought all of my gear to a meet in Seattle some years back. Everything I owned was on display at all of the other desks, and I ended up just leaving my stuff at another Headfier's desk to be used as samples. ;) pretty chill stuff.- luvandp3ace

CanJam SoCal 2015, March 28-29, 2015
I've been dreaming of going to CanJam since my college days... Just flew in from SF, rented a car, got my Airbnb and had Korean food. :) I'm fairly newb at this audio stuff, but you folks are so welcoming! First timers! If you'd like to huddle together let me know and wait in line at some of...- luvandp3ace

Reply to review by 'luvandp3ace' on item 'Sennheiser IE800'
I dunno. After going into Customs I've never been able to go back to universals. They just haven't caught my interest until the I800's and the Shure 846. I bought the Shures at an airport and used them for a few weeks. Fun, but they just lack the comfort and utilitarianism of a custom monitor...- luvandp3ace

Review by 'luvandp3ace' on item 'Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors'
Alright everyone. I feel like the UERM's deserve some cred. I never write reviews on my phones, and I know not enough people read this section, but someone has to defend these. I've owned and listened to many of the top tier Custom's and Universal IEMS. Owned UE18Pro JH16Pro...- luvandp3ace

Has anyone compared the UM Miracles to the UERM?
I have the UERM's. They are flat indeed but what most people don't mention is their sound stage. I can confidently say I have not heard one IEM that can compete in this space with the UERM's. All my music sounds more real, more open, more accurate.... If the Miracles had a similar sound...- luvandp3ace

Enter to Win: Moshi Audio Clarus Earphones
My favorite features of an IEM... 1. Detail - capturing instrument separation and subtle tones around vocals... 2. Presentation - balanced, open, grand imaging that sounds natural and real. 3. Comfort - Designed with the listener in mind. Fit, cables, ergonomics, carrying...- luvandp3ace

Ultimate Ears Personal Reference Monitors: The *Custom* Custom In-Ear Monitor
Man, I really do enjoy my UERM's... I've been switching back and forth between UE 18 Pros and UREM's for a few weeks now. Both have their strengths, but if I absolutely had to pick one, it would be UERM. But now apparently these are better... Even if they are tuned to be completely neutral...- luvandp3ace

Uerm, westone es5 or ue 18 pro?
I have an ES5 if you are interested. Also I own an UERM and have a UE 18 pro on order. Haven't tried the UE 18 pro yet but should have answers soon. But I would agree, the ES5's would likely be the best option if you want some of that Guitar to come a live and her voice to really...- luvandp3ace

The Best Ever Headphone / IEM shop in Seoul, South Korea
I'm going to Korea next Wednesday. Definitely stopping by. I've been hitting up a few headphone / IEM shops in YongSan - in the world's largest electronics district, they have 2 or 3 stores that are just off the hook with good gear (and killer prices if you negotiate ahem* and well if the...- luvandp3ace

Thank you everyone for the feedback~ The few experiences I had with Grado have been good but the PS1000 definitely seems to lean either one way or the other with people. I hope to have something figured out before the meet! Thanks!- luvandp3ace

SEATTLE MEET @ FRONT PANEL EXPRESS 1/21/2012
Probably not a good place to ask - but I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of Grado PS 1000's. I don't remember one of those being at the meet - anybody know what a reasonable price is for one of these so that I know what I'm getting myself into? haha Thanks!- luvandp3ace
