    Denon AH-D2000 + E10, E11 or other?

Hey guys,   I've set my sights on getting the Denon AH-D2000, and am looking for portable amp suggestions.   I've researched pretty thoroughly and haven't come up with a solid choice.   Since I don't need a DAC, I've been looking at the E11, but the E10 looks nice and can still be...

Pressure on INSIDE (due to IEM's) on earcups on XB-500 bad for them?

Allow me to explain. I'm trying to create an even better sound isolation by using my IEM's (MEElectronics M9's) and putting my XB500's over them. HOWEVER, due to the angle of the IEM's, they don't go straight down and jut out a bit, which causes the outside of the IEM's to push against the...

    Portable amp for RX700's?

Would the JVC HA-RX700 benefit from a portable amp ? I have my eye on the HiFiMAN EF2 or the iBasso D4 , which one would it benefit most from ? Other amp suggestions <$200 would be great , thanks .

Would the JVC HA-RX700's sound better with an amp?

Has anyone tried these with an amp and found that they benefit from one ? Even a portable one would be fine , I'm just wondering since there aren't many amp-related threads about this little gem .

    Fuze vs. iPod Touch 2G

I have an iPod Touch 2G and have been wanting to upgrade in a while . I decided to compare my iPod to my friend's Fuze to test out how bad the iPod's headphone out really is . I used my ES7's for the test and FLAC on the Fuze and 320kbps MP3's on the iPod and told my friend to connect my...

Are the JVC HA-RX700's comparable to cans like the ATH-M50's?

I keep hearing about these cans , but really , for their price , how good are they ? Are they comparable to the ATH-M50s ? Would they be a bit of an upgrade from ES7's ? Any help would be appreciated , thank you .

    Amping Fuze HO okay?

Is using an amp through the Fuze's headphone out okay? Because I don't think I'll be able to get a LOD. :/

    ES7 Upgrade for Rock, <$250

I have some ES7's atm, and I'm looking for an upgrade. I mostly listen to rock / korean music (even though I'm mexican :P) and would like to keep it under $250. I've read about the ESW9's but they are at the top of my budget and the AH-D2000's but seem to be sold out everywhere and apparently...

Closed Headphone Recommendation to use with S:flo2 and iBasso D4?

Okay , I'm basically remaking this thread that I made in the portable section to hopefully get some more responses. So I'm getting an S:flo2 due to it's great reviews and the D4 as an amp. I currently have a pair of ATH-ES7's and some people tell me they benefit from an amp, others saying there...

Headphone Recommendation to use with S:flo2 and iBasso D4?

So I'm getting an S:flo2 due to it's great reviews and the D4 as an amp. I currently have a pair of ATH-ES7's and some people tell me they benefit from an amp, others saying there is little to no difference and others even telling me that it makes the sound worse! So unless more people can tell...

DAP Recommendation for use with iBasso D4?

I was thinking about the iPods since I can use a LOD to connect to the D4 , but are there other alternatives that have a line-out? Good to great sound quality is a must and try to keep it under $200. Thanks.

    Portable Amp for ATH-ES7's?

So after some brief research I found out that the ES7's benefit substantially from an amp , and since I'm always on the move thought a portable one would be my best bet. I have my eye on the iBasso D4 , but does anyone else have any other suggestions from experience? Thanks guys. (:

    MP3 Player for Sound Quality?

What's a decent MP3 player with it's main strong point being sound quality? Other must-haves is a user-friendly UI and simply nice looking to the eye. I have my eye on the Cowon S9, but it's UI looks kinda unfriendly. Anyone got any other recommendations? Please keep it under $200-$250.
