When I use them with my cell phone (notoriously bad sounding samsung sgs2) they sound thin and fuzzy, but plugging them into a quality source gives a completly different experience. I use them for listening on the metro and for pro...- hanklibre

Ultimate Ears In-Ear Reference Monitors (Capitol Studios Collaboration): Announcement and First Impressions

It's basically the only can I've been using for the past few years and now I'm thinking of buying these for mixing audio, and I would greatly appreciate a line or two comparing the...- hanklibre

Etymotic ER 4?

But due to the excruciating and torturous pain each time I inserted them I had to let them go...- hanklibre

The Etymotics HF5 Thread
Thanks alot for these comparisons!!! I'm really looking for the analytical and flat sound of the ER4, for working with my phones in soundproduction. So you'd say its perhaps more the attributes of RE0? Also I'd like to add, since this is my first posting here, this seems to be a wonderful...- hanklibre

The Etymotics HF5 Thread
This sounds very interesting. I used to own the ER4's, and now regretting on returning them. Hopefully these would settle my abstinence. Has anyone yet compared these to the RE0?- hanklibre
