Baby STAX SR-001 MK2 Impressions Thread

NiZn is empty at 1.6v. Doubling that would be 3.2v.   Anyway, the red and green LEDs probably detect the high voltage charge, for the static electrical bias, in hundreds of volts.

On eBay, NiZn is not more expensive than other rechargeable.   And I use La Crosse BC-700, which charges NiZn very well, although designed for NiMH.

Quote: Not necessarily.   Quad QPM1 MSRP at E200. Street price should be even lower.   Wharfedale 8.2 Active is also similar to Quad 12L Active.   There are a lot other good pro monitors at the low price range.   http://stereo.50webs.com/

Are iPods a no-go for audiophiles?

So what's the verdict?   All similarly priced portable players sound the same? Any sounds significantly better than others without costing significantly more? With EQ off, of course.   Comparing portable players to other sources, do external DACs that are priced similar to portable...

What is the iPod Touch 4 docking interface capable of?   Digital audio? SPDIF? USB Audio?   Video? VGA?   Is there any dock with SPDIF and VGA out?   And for portable line out dock, is there any with coiled cable?   Thanks a lot.
