Remove everything from your library in MM then go and specify which folders you want MM to monitor that way if you have files in a bunch of places then you can add only the folders you want. Then just do a little organizing and make sure the music you want are in those folders.

If the OP thinks the 212 doesn't have enough bass then for sure the M50 won't satisfy him. If you want all bass and nothing else with some vibrating mechanism to make you feel them go with the Beats. There comes a point where the bass is too much and they become novelty one-trick headphones.

I believe that the 212 will have about as much bass as you'll get from non-novelty phones like the Beats. Too much bass drowns out mids and highs so phones like the Beats aren't considered audiophile (and for good reason).

How about an hdtv, no ps3 involved?

On a slightly different topic since I think the OP's question is answered, has anyone tried a usb amp/dac on an hdtv? More specifically, a uDAC through the usb port on a Samsung LN52B630?

The SRH750DJ's sound great, look great but the fit may not be for everyone. warrior05 and myself have commented in that thread on the fact that you have to extend them out all the way to fit an average sized head. They do sound really, really good though. I had both and kept the M50, no regrets!

I don't really do any gaming but they're excellent for movies. First movie I used these with was Iron Man and I was blown away. BTW, it seems they sound better when plugged into my tv, i guess the tv acts like an amp?
