None of those fit what you listen to very well.   DT990 would give you the kick needed for dubstep and electronic. I do believe the others are a bit too soft and polite for these genres.

DT770 are very good if you wanna bash some heads in.   Nothing beats the Ultrasone Edition 8's concussion-inducing properties but it might be a bit expensive for that purpose.

Might sell everything I have for some JH13's. I'm getting underwhelming isolation from my RE0's. A lot of sound bleeds in and I can barely hear any bass.   Would use the 13's at home too.

I wish there was an LCD that was as fast and as black as CRTs, had the viewing angles, color accuracy and geometric perfection of an IPS.   Until then I'm stuck with my oh so flawed HP LP2475w.

I'm having to follow Ottawa's never-ending quest to play up to its potential. We've iced a great team for over a decade but it's never got its crap straight at the right times and for long enough.   Melancholic after the blowout at the hands of philly tho.

Shure 840's m50's Denon D2000   I think this is where you should be looking at.

DT990 is the first headphone I grew comfortable with. Great all around and you never feel like you're missing anything.

If you're not gonna get a DAC/AMP that's more than 200$, you better save your money and get some bargain heaphones like the KSC75, portapro,  PX100, etc. You can't pull serious audio out of realtek onboard chips.   Tried uDAC for a while but I'm not a fan.

DT990 is scary good. I've heard bassy headphones but this is just good bass.   You can ruin your music with your everyday crap bassy headphones if you want but DT990 is serious music right there.

You are basically stapling the udac's ballsack to the ceiling.

the 600 version I heard is the only one worth considering. I'm not convinced they're meaningfully harder to drive either, heard some people say they're equally loud at the same settings.

The AD900 really do not have a whole lot of bass. What they offer is really lean, airy, clear sound.   If you're the type of gamer who wants the advantage of hearing every possible sound that could locate an enemy, AD900 MIGHT be worth the price over AD700. However, if you play games for fun...
