Would I be able to get a decent amp for a 600 ohm model for around $300?

Bump up for any other reccomendations, also, which version of the dt880s should I get? I see this is a pro model and then others like 600 ohms

Don't know much about stax, how is the quality? The lambadas seen to look really plasticy and cheap to me.

I seem to be having a problem with my triple fi 10s no matter what size tip(sm,med,lrg) they always will slide out a few seconds after. I tried puttingthem the normal earbid way the tried facing them upwards with the wire running behind my ear, any ideas as to why they keep falling out?

Hmmm but what would I get better sound from, a pair of ad2000s with my computer and itegrated soundcard(which still sounds good with my ad700s) or buy a dac for my ad700s (compass most likely)
