Any 8 core cable with a 2 pin configuration that'll fit, BQEYZ cables are not particularly especial. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but I wouldn't pay extra for them (I got both of mine in a sale).

The K100, because is more balanced, but they are both great and it really comes down to your sonic preferences. The BQ3 is great of you want more of that bass rumble and some people will prefer that.

I mean, it’s great for those that do not want to buy stuff through a Chinese dealer, but the mark up is just too much. I bought both the KB100 and the BQ3 for what they are asking for their Quintet.

I am very impressed with their output, both iem that I own from their company are really, really good, and don't suffer from the issues that a lot of chi-fi do. The shell pieces are really well made, are not designs that I have seen in dozens of other products, and their connections are good...

I have also noticed that the cable used by BQYEZ are the same used by other manufacturers in more expensive earphones.

My KB100 cable was fine, but my BQEYZ BQ3 cable ear guides came both formed the wrong direction, but it was an easy fix with a blow dryer and now it’s fine, I also have a couple cables that I bought off AliExpress that fit great.

I have both the T2 and the KB100, and I can confirm that the K100 is basically an upgraded T2. And of top of that, it’s better built, from the cable to the shells and specially their MMCX connectors, which are the weak points of the T2.

The people at Penon have a lot of contacts within the Chinese headphone industry, I don't know how big they are, but they have a lot of products in their inventory, and I don't think this is the only exclusive they have done.

The KB100 is a special edition made exclusively for Penon Audio, so no other seller is going to be able to sell it (at least not officially).
