Get the CD ripper at http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ I think the free trial is three weeks, plenty of time to burn your CDs to FLAC. It's very easy to use.   Not to be insulting but your headphones and rig are relatively inexpensive.   You wouldn't expect the most luxury ride from the cheapest...

JVC VICTOR HP DX-1000 has a matching stand available that has a pretty big base.   Mine measures approx 7" across the bottom, approx 1.5" up till it starts curving, approx 3.5" height, approx 4" across top.

My "show off stuff in your signature" drop downs only have the "Your classifieds" option.  Do I need to do something to get the Sources, Amps, Headphones options to show up?
