My Denon AHD5000 cable keeps fraying, any suggestions on a cable around $50-70? I presume I would have to convert it to MCX or something? I also need to read up on balanced cables and what they are. Thanks

Yep not detachable. I'm thinking it would be hard to convert them. I was thinking about the dhc nucleotide cable with a hard wearing sleeving.

Hi all, I am thinking of upgrading my icon mobile usb dac/amp to the Pico dac/amp as I feel my hd650s are pretty underpowered with it. I know the Pico may not be as good as a desktop amp but I would like to confirm whether the Pico will do a better job of driving these cans. Leon
