depends on your need, and how much you are willing to spend. The good thing about separate components is you can always upgrade one first, but looking at the budget, the best you can go is just all in one kind..

how about the DAC, did you locate that? try to supply it with constant current, it sweetened the sound.. IMHO

why don't try mosfet with tube, not really expensive but quite challenging.. i did mine during college time, oh man..i miss those days..
