Toxic Cables - Impressions and Discussion Thread
I bought a copper cable from Frank for my LCD-2 which arrived yesterday. I wanted it purely because I was sick of how heavy and thick the stock cable was, you could always feel it interacting with things and pulling down. Thankfully this cable is a massive improvement, it truly looks great and...- N17

Recabling Grado SR60i - Advice needed
http://www.monkeyfaq.com/grado_recable/index.html I did this last week following the guide above. Its really quite easy, and if it doesn't make sense now it probably will once you have it all the parts in front of you. All it takes is a very small bit of skill with the soldering iron, youtube...- N17

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Just got my LCD-2 and Burson HA-160D yesterday. Absolutely loving it! The best thing about them for me is the seperation of instruments and detail, it kills my HD650's in that regard. Didn't know how much of an upgrade they would truly be but the increase in detail is staggering. Love them...- N17

Beyerdynamic DT 48 vs. Beyerdynamic DT 250
The DT250 really is a great pair of headphones and their biggest strength in my opinion is the ability to sort of gloss over the imperfections in the recording. I was sort of sick and tired of hearing all the little mistakes with the HD650 and thought I'd try a less revealing headphone and...- N17

Headphones you regretted buying the most
UE superfi 5 pros. Sounded great, could put up with the comfort but by far the the biggest waste of money. Bought for almost AU$500, spent AU$140 fixing the wires as they inevitably broke after just a couple of months of use and now the plug that the wires plug into has come off rendering them a...- N17

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
Got a new strap for my watch (Dievas Timer Flieger) but still haven't taken photos with a decent camera yet. The standard buckle was surprisingly bad and would pull through quite easily. Its good finally not having to worry about your watch randomly falling off.- N17

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I didn't really have a budget and I pretty much just went for the Dievas because I preferred its looks. The Stowa does look really nice though, but I actually really liked the ribbed bezel because without it i think the watch looks simply too plain. I really like the bands they have on the Stowa...- N17

K701, HD 650 on Steroid
That eq made my 650's soundy really tinny and thin, quite horrible really. Everytime try to come up with an EQ I always set it back to flat and realise how much better it always sounds untouched.- N17
