Hey does anyone have issues with battery drain? When it's on standby, it loses significant power. Even when powered off, it went down to 85% while plugged in to my battery bank that shut off after recharging to 100%. Maybe I have a bad unit? Or my settings aren't set correctly?

Pretty straightforward. Load SD card in with music, plug in, play. I recommend Musicolet as an app. I don’t like the Hiby app I also prefer taking the card out to transfer files. Using the Hiby m300 as a card reader is slower

Through my IEMs (Westone W80--you can look up their sensitivity ratings and compare to your IEMs), I am comfortable around 30-40%.

Because you don’t lose quality really upsampling from there as I think 48 fits in 192, but you do when you downsample from 192, as is the case with some of my music. I think you may have some degradation going from 44.1khz to 192khz because they’re not perfectly divisible. I don’t really know...

FWIW, I’m really happy with Musicolet. Fully featured app, well designed. Better than PowerAmp. I actually got a refund from PowerAmp because you can’t batch edit multiple songs’ tags which is absurd I bought Musicolet afterwards to support multiple artist tagging

I don't understand. I got this M300 with the Cirrus CS43131 chip so I could play 32bit 384k audio (24bit 192khz, to be honest) . Why the **** would I need another USB-C DAC

I was told that other apps wouldn't be bit-perfect, but I guess I just found out a few minutes ago that Hiby isn't either and resamples everything? Musicolet is parsing my library now... will check, but both MP3tag and Swinsian on my Mac report the correct tags for all files.
