Does anyone own the Sennheiser HE60 headphones and HEV70 amplifier coupled with a 508 series Meridian CD player?  My thinking is this should provide a highly detailed but 'caramelly sweet' sound.  I primarily listen to jazz, classic rock and some modern rock and pop.

I find the sound of the Mini-DAC excellent. It is warm, detailed, and best of all it sounds the same with all sources (yep, I've checked!) I haven't heard a CD player or transport+DAC combo that comes close. Yet, I am drawn to the black glass of the Meridian series, particularly the 508.24...

I would love to hear them, you can of course hear my rig as well.

Has anyone given this combination a go? I'm thinking RS-1 plugged directly into the Duet: MBP -> Duet -> RS-1 Is their any synergy here, or should I be looking at the Duet only as a source? -AOR
