for that kind of music, save your money and buy a Grado Sr60

If you want closed .... forget the Sennheiser, and buy a Shure SRH440 , much cheaper then the Sennheiser and much more good sound and comfort.

Connect the amp on the Headphone Output, that will do the job Try the Nuforce Icon Mobile , very nice , small , cheap amp with build-in dac for a good price

ATH M50 are better, you also can look for the Sony MDR 7506 , very nice cans for a nice price

I owned the DT770's but I didn't liked them Now i'm using a Shure 440 for portable and a Ultrasone Pro650 at home. Far better sound then the DT770, only the comfort of the DT770 is very good

A HD800 , plastic fantastic , to much money for these (ugly) things

SR60: Good Choice Maybe a Nuforce Icon Mobile amp, nice price for a fine amp

Buy a Grado Sr60 or SR 80 , nice price cans, they are very good with the music you like. I'm using for the most of time my Grado Sr325 and when my wife is in the room i use my Ultrasone Pro650, but the Sr325 sounds best

Yes they can !! I'm thinking of buying a pair of 440's myself I'm a Grado and Ultrasone fan, but these 440's sounds great

Strange.......... i think that your (computer)source is bad i tried the 440's with a ipod and later with a ipod and the nuforce icon mobile these hp's sounds great !! Ok , they are not Grado's or Ultrasone's , but for the money (99 euro) they are very good
