Any reshell services still around in the us?

I did some google/forum searching and Im getting fairly old posts about reshelling - has anyone used a reshelling service for CIEM (normal old school CIEM like jhaudio 16, weston es5) in 2016 or late 2015?  Is Fisher (inearz?) still a good place to get this done?  This is for Continental US.  ...

I trimmed down the depth of one my Westone ES 50 (too deep, ear pain laying down) with MAH DRIMMEL.  Its all good now but Id like to get back the super smooth feel the rest of the shell has...any idea how to do that?

I would like chime in here and recommend that you can have custom tips made.   I used to have a bag of tips until I had Westone um56 made...would NEVER go back to all this foam/flange junk.   Its basically just the canal portion of a custom IEM that plugs onto your IEM like a tip - perfect...

I dont have a 105, but I wanted to drop by give a thumbs up for Oppo...I have a 93 and its been a great player.   If the server side of things can stream from a network then I probably will get a 105...its the only thing the 93 lacked that annoyed me (had to hang a hard drive off the back)

I dont think those any of those listed will be an upgrade.   Just pony up for some $1000 CIEMs and be done with headfi for a while.

I have a set of complys and sony tips.  They all suck.  Custom tips or customs.   They all suck horribly actually.  I am having flash backs of my first shure and westone universals and the BAGS of tips I messed around with before getting um56.

I dont disagree about the seal thing, but frankly its annoying to go thru 30-40 buds trying to get a seal.  I am custom fit only from here on out.  I would love to try the coppers with a custom tip on them.   (the hole is to big to smush the um56 on it)   I highly highly highly recommend not...

FYI dont have IEMs in your ears when you turn on an amp - you get a little ear drum rupturing suprise as the chips warm up...Public service announcement.   I have thought all my IEMs were better with a modded D10...so this isnt super suprising.  I like having a volume knob as well.  ...

Is there a dynamic iem with the stem diameter of the westone or shure models?  I cant live without the um56 tips, but I just want to try something.  The monsters were way too big to smush on there.   Any ideas?    

nice posts in here   My only recommendation to you is buy um56 custom tips RIGHT NOW.   They are cheap and work on shure and westone and totally destroy any type of flange, foam, etc.  My audiologist did the molds free and $90us for the tips, I ordered it all through the audiologist.  ...

nah I think there is alot to do with crossovers and dyanmic style drivers still to come   The sooner universals are simply not purchased in favor of custom iems and tip will help the masses as well. 

I have the coppers, sounds good for just cranking music - I have to use the ear guides to keep a seal.
