    Fiio A3 for iPhone 6?

Hey, I bought a Fiio A3 on a whim (gift vouchers) a while back. I'm using it with my iPhone 6 and the bass boost seems to have a little effect, but otherwise the main benefit is volume beyond what I actually require. (I'm using AiAiAI TMA-2 headphones) Am I correct in thinking that without a...

Can anyone fix my iPod Classic 7G with Tarkan Micro SD card?

Hey, back around Christmas I bought Tarkan's 4 x Micro SD card, for my iPod Classic 7G. I bought two brand new SanDIsk Ultra 128GB Micro SD cards, from the recommended list. I got them inside (after screwing the rear case and getting a new one) and it briefly worked, brilliantly...

Best setup for Fiio A3 with iPhone 6 and iPod Classic 6G?

Hey, I picked up a Fiio A3 headphone amp and wonder how best to connect it to my music devices? My music devices iPhone 6 iPod Classic 7G (with Tarkan's 4 x Micro SD conversion, although needs fixing) MacBook Pro 2011 My headphones are AiAiAi TMA-2 Young Guru. Running the iPhone 6 straight...

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread

I can't see any on there at present. I've left my iPod running for 8 hours at full volume and it's at what looks like 60%, maybe slightly more.. which suggests I could get 20 hours life, at this rate? If so, that would suggest a fairly healthy battery? I might be cool with keeping it as-is if so.

Official Ipod Video / Classic 5g+5.5g+6g+6.5g+7g SSD Mod thread

Hey, I'm delighted to have fitted the quad in my 7G iPod classic, with two 128Gb Micro SD cards in it, comfortably fitting my 170Gb of music. However, I'm interested in a 2,000 Ma battery, but can't find one in the UK. I leave for Australia in only a couple of weeks and would really like this...

M-Audio Q40 ear pads and strap padding are disintegrating. Any replacements?

Fantastically helpful! I'm in the UK, looks like these are the ones? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brainwavz-Replacement-Memory-Foam-Earpads/dp/B00MFDT894/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1450641618&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=brainwaves+hm5 You recommend pleather, or velour? That only leaves the...

M-Audio Q40 ear pads and strap padding are disintegrating. Any replacements?

Hey, I have a pair of M-Audio Q40 headphones that I got around six years ago. The ear pads and padding on the strap are disintegrating, leaving black dust on anything they touch. Anywhere I can get replacements? Ear pads would help, not sure if the strap padding can be changed? They...

Check out the new "Addict Uprock Headphones" - should I get a pair?

I'd be inclined to agree about the 'rebranded cheapos' comment, but (unlike many other clothes companies) they design all their clothing themselves. Their hoodies are the best I've owned, great stitching, all sorts of pockets and features. This leads me to trust their assertion they were...

Check out the new "Addict Uprock Headphones" - should I get a pair?

Yeah the Addicts look a lot like the WESC Tambourine. Is there anything on the Addict profile to indicate their quality? Or do you know much about the sound quality of WESC or Urbanears? Addict's clothing is certainly very well made and designed by them for quality/functionality - as...

Check out the new "Addict Uprock Headphones" - should I get a pair?

Hey, I own a pair of M-Audio Q40s that I got on advice of this forum. They sound great, but have a very long and delicate cable that I have not yet found a short, sturdy replacement for. Either way, they're a bit delicate, expensive and big to take on-the-go. I'm after a lighter over-ear...

    M-Audio Q40 - Where can I get a new cable?

I am more than happy with my Q40s - the best headphones I've ever had. There are only two issues: - They are so big that unlike my old AKG K181, they are not comfortable to slide round my neck when not being used. Nothing I can do about this, but it's a reasonable price to pay for such...

    E5 mudding up my Q40s?

Ha - I have had problems with my ears recently and pumped some 6% Hydrogen Peroxide in them and flushed them with water a few times - my hearing seems to be better than it has been in living memory! I can hear so much treble and presence in the world around me now - even frying dinner sounded...

Skullcandy SK Pro DJ vs Sony MDR-7506 headphones?

I have the K181 DJ and the Q40. Both are great. My K181 finally snapped after 2 years of heavy use, but they are excellent headphones. Q40 are that extra bit thicker and deeper - like no headphone I have experienced, but the K181 are excellent beasts! K181 - Pitbull. Q40 - Rottweiler.

    E5 mudding up my Q40s?

I was about to post - I just got a pair of M-Audio Q40s through and on the whole I am impressed - great definition and thumping solid bass, but some more treble and mids would be good. Drum & Bass is awesome, just some of my guitar tones don't have quite as much definition and bite as I would...

    AKG K 240 Mk. II Vs M-Audio Q40

I think it's definitely the Q40 - the comments on the bass being big are pretty exciting. I do love my bass - as long as it's thick and controlled. The amount of people who say that despite this they are also great monitors is very reassuring - I haven't heard a bad word said!

    AKG K 240 Mk. II Vs M-Audio Q40

Ha, I should survive this one I think - I can't see why I will need another pair anytime soon, but forums often have a way of convincing us otherwise.. Will post back when they arrive!

    AKG K 240 Mk. II Vs M-Audio Q40

Then that's exactly what I want - bearing in mind my Zune has no EQ, a bass boost would take their decent sound quality (in comparison to an ipod) and give it that little extra thump I need!

    AKG K 240 Mk. II Vs M-Audio Q40

I appreciate the suggestion, but I think I'm going to go for the Q40 - my Zune doesn't have an EQ, so the extra bass boost sounds pretty good to me! I listen to a lot of D&B and heavy guitars, so this is especially important.

    AKG K 240 Mk. II Vs M-Audio Q40

Which one of these two pairs of great headphones should I buy? I'm looking at something to listen to Drum&Bass and heavy guitars with on my Microsoft Zune, with a little production use in the evenings. I do however, have great monitors, so will not rely on them for mixdowns. I'm looking...

Should I buy the Grado S80, or AKG K 240 Mk. II ?

As I explained though, although I do produce and will use these headphones for this task in the evenings on occasion, I am going to use them far more for listening to music on - usually high quality MP3. As I know the K181DJ very well, and found it handled both my MP3 and production needs...
