Phonak Perfect Bass 012 & 022 - new models
I was commenting on the PB compared with the Klipsch S4 earphones at that time. Sorry if I wasn't very clear about that.- Moldytape

Phonak Perfect Bass 012 & 022 - new models
I just received the perfect bass earphones and I made a quick comparison with my current Phonak PFE 112 earphones. The perfect bass earphones pack a lot more punch than the grey and even the black filters. Compared with the grey filters, the green filters definitely lost the midrange forwardness...- Moldytape

Symphony -x appreciation thread!
I know I'm bringing an old thread back but I also like to say that symphony x is a fantastic progressive metal band. They have some talented members in both instrument playing and songwriting and many of their songs contain classical influences. However, backed with incredibly strong vocals... -
Sony X Series Walkman, COWON S9, Apple iPod touch 2G, SanDisk Sansa Fuze Impressions with the Shure E500 / SE530
I like to add that the S9 has some amazing custom UI's. My definite favorite is the Cube Browser Total UI. Not only does it make the browser for music sleeker and more eye candy, it also makes the scrolling more responsive and gives you extra options to tweak the browser (a big one is the choice...- Moldytape

Which has Better Sound Quality the Cowon Players or Sony Mp3 Walkmans?
Would an analytical earphone (PFE) fit well with an analytical player (Cowon) to match both of their strengths or a warmer player (Sony) to balance the sound out?- Moldytape

Next Step: From Shure SCL4s to Super fi 5 Pros?
If you truly believe that more drivers have better sound, then you should look at the dual driver apple IEM which costs only $79.- Moldytape

looking at dual driver buds. here's my story
I think the Monster Turbines would fit your requirements. Even though I haven't tried them myself and the Turbines are not dual drivers, they have deep and clear bass without overpowering the highs. Plus, they're only $150.- Moldytape

headphones/IEM's for Cowon D2
I as well listen to prog rock and the PFE's are wonderful to listen to prog rock in clarity and detail. An amp would really make the PFE's shine though. I don't have a D2 (using a zen), however, but I am planning to get an S9 by summer and I've heard that the Cowon series have sound more edged...- Moldytape

Buying Creative ep630. Any Suggestions?
I've had the EP-630's for over a year and I have to say that are pretty decent cheap IEM's. It has pretty heavy bass and a warm sound but also has good detail for its price. The cable, however, is very flimsy though.- Moldytape

SA6, PFE, or Turbines?
Is there a huge change in SQ if you switch from the e5 to the t4 while listening to the PFE's?- Moldytape

IEM (Not high bass..but more treble/clarity)
The company website: Audéo - A more intense music experience - Products I think it still has a 10% off coupon code called YTECH10 to reduce the price to something like $125.10 instead of $139- Moldytape

Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
I'm now starting to dig in with the grey filters and complys. Even while using the black filters with medium silicones I could occasionally hear a distinct and slightly irritating sibilance in my music using the Zen and the E5. Grey filters and medium silicones were overkill as even high...- Moldytape

I don't think I've heard microphonics yet out of an IEM
Yeah, I don't really mind microphonics at all even with my first IEM which were known to have bad microphonics but sibilance from the PFE irks me a little bit in a couple select songs.- Moldytape

Phonak Audeo?
Wow, I basically have the exact same story as Tams except I had the Creative EP-630 instead of the Marshmallows, only 1 hour to listen to them, and listened to Dream Theater and some classical music instead. It's really hard to decide but I think I prefer the black filters a bit more.- Moldytape

Buying PFE on amazon or company website?
I came to head-fi to replace my old Creative EP-630 headphones and after a lot of research in the forums I decided to buy the Phonak Audeo PFE. Now all I need is to decide how to buy it. I've seen a lot of people in the forums that bought it directly off of the Phonak website. I already have an...- Moldytape
