I got mine today and I have about an hour of listening time. Some of the earlier posts had me a little worried but I have to say that I very impressed so far. It's still early but I prefer them to my Denon D5000, much nicer treble and I prefer the bass on these as they they seem to dig deeper...

Yes, the isolation is very good. Much better than my D5000 which is not very surprising. They also don't leak much. My first pair of headphones that does not bother my wife when listening in bed. I'm not good at describing how headphones sound but I concur with D4rkst3EL, very clear and pleasant...

I ordered mine on December 24th and they were showing a two week wait time on their website. I got an email yesterday saying they were going to ship today so no complaints on my side.

I got my HE-500 from Headroom last week and it came with the new cable (looks like copper though, not silver) and leather pads in addition to the velour pads already on the phones.

I've had my Lyr for a week and a half and I'm very happy with the sound. My HD580 are now my favorite phones while prior to getting the Lyr I did not enjoy them very much on my Head-Direct EF1. The only negative so far has been a slight "buzzing" noise coming, I assume, from the power supply...

110V. Running the stock Conn/Sylvania tube and the amp just gets luke-warm, even after hours of running at fairly loud levels.

I've owned my EF1 for about 1 month and I have to concur that it is a great match with the Denon D5000. It sounds superb to my ears. Mine came with a Conn-branded Sylvania tube and does not run hot, merely warm even after hours of listening. It sits on top of a Sony MDS 930 minidisc...
