I used to get up early on Saturday mornings to watch Sam & Max: Freelance Police. I downloaded the box set a while back and realized that this wasn't entirely a kids' show. Haha.   I think that pretty much seals the deal. I'm going to go for the MC5s. Thanks for your help!

IMO those cans look pretty ugly. The juxtaposition of that too-perfectly ovaled logo on each cup against the meticulously rectangular pads makes me gag. The attachments between the headband and the cup is neat and the wiring on the headband looks sturdy, but the earpads themselves just look...

Take note: The J3 seems to have no tactile controls. You have to, much like the iPod Touch, unlock the screen to pause.

Can you remove the earpads entirely? If you can, and they're replaceable, go for it, and if you're unhappy with the effects, you can always replace them.
