Anyone pair these with the Onkyo DP-X1?

How do these compare to full size cans soundwize? Like say the Denon D600? Please forgive my ignorance, I have virtually no experience with IEMs and was looking at these or the Fidue A83

Couple of questions on these Ear Pads, 1) How do you remove them, and 2) Doe anyone have a better solution, source for the pads outside of ordering the Brainwavz M5?

Does the DAC get bypassed when using the AUX input? Is the only way to engage the DAC is to utilize the USB/DAC connection? I was hoping to pair this with the Denon D600 and my Samsung Note 5.

If you don't my chiming in here... When you reflow those joints, use plenty of flux - it will help the solder flow and get better coverage. Also you will want to be careful when you solder around those SS components, too much heat can kill them. You also may want to take a look at those...

OK I feel like a dumb *****, I didn't realize I could use a fiberoptic cable (with 3.5mm adapter) out of my onboard SPDIF. Much better than my static USB. Thanks for the help Peete.
