The company is definitely starting to dominate this market. Just take this forum for example; every other thread is about a Fiio product. Maybe the increased competition will help to lower the obscene prices some other manufacturers charge for portable amps.

I scored a pair of MX880s off amazon for $50 and they're honestly the best value I've found in quality earbuds. Sound quality is superior to the PK1s imho. I did give the MX980s a try, and really only noticed a small sonic improvement over the MX880s, but that may very well be due to the fact...

The etys are lightning-fast (imho,) and extend higher than any other headphone I've tried. I'm referring to the ER4S though, not ER4P or HF5.

I've just come to the assumption that my ER4-S's are as close to perfection as I'm going to get. I've yet to hear a full size headphone that I've thought of as superior. Probably electrostatic territory. 

New 325i owner here, serial # 7104. The headphones just came in, and I'm sitting here glaring at the unopened box. Cant try them out until I leave work, and the suspense is killing me. Looking forward to comparing to my 225 & 125is.

I was wondering the same thing. I visited the site this morning & received all types of malicious software warnings... Hope they get it back. I was trying to buy a D2. 

If you're worried about microphonics, try routing the cable over your ears. Given the shape of the ER4s, it's considerably more difficult than other iems, but if it works for you, it should cut down microphonics significantly.
